Coaching: Rep Deep-Dive

By Summit53 Team

Overview

The Rep view (/coaching/rep/:repId) is the per-rep deep-dive you reach by clicking a rep from the dashboard priority queue or framework heatmap. It opens with the repโ€™s name, their diagnosed layer badge, the week of the diagnosis, and โ€” when they are below target โ€” the focus metric with its current value, benchmark, and gap.

Two header actions are always available: Dashboard returns to the team view, and Prep 1:1 agenda opens the agenda builder for this rep. An avatar strip lets you jump straight to another rep without going back to the dashboard.

Tabs

  • Diagnostic โ€” the diagnosis narrative and the four-layer cascade.
  • Framework scores โ€” component-level MEDDPICC and SPICED scores against the team.
  • Goals โ€” the quarterโ€™s development goals; the count appears in the tab label.
  • Meetings โ€” conversation analytics from recorded meetings; the count appears in the tab label.

You can move between tabs with the left and right arrow keys.

Diagnostic tab

The summary card states the diagnosis in plain language โ€” either that the rep is on target (shift from remediation to growth), or that results are below target and names the first failing layer. A Focus this quarter insight calls out the single metric to work on, its current value versus the P75 benchmark, and marks it with a 2ร— lever badge when improving it has outsized impact. Alongside, a Focus metric history area chart plots the metric over time against its benchmark line.

Below that, the 4-layer diagnostic cascade shows each layer โ€” Results, Effort, Knowledge, Skills โ€” evaluated top-down, each with the question it answers (โ€œIs this rep on target?โ€, โ€œAre they doing the work?โ€, โ€œDo they know what to say?โ€, โ€œCan they execute it in context?โ€) and a Pass, Fail, or Not evaluated status. Each evaluated layer lists its metrics against target, for example Quota attainment, Win rate, and Pipeline coverage for Results, or Activities / week and Action plan completion for Effort. Layers below the diagnosed one are marked โ€œNot evaluatedโ€ โ€” once the blocking layer is found, deeper layers are not assessed until it is cleared.

Framework scores tab

This tab compares the repโ€™s framework execution to the team. A Component scores list shows each MEDDPICC and SPICED item as a bar for the rep, a dark tick for the team average, and a green tick at the 75% benchmark. A Shape radar overlays the rep (solid) against the team average (dashed) across up to eight axes. Any weak items are also collected under Low-scoring components as labelled badges, so the two or three skills to coach are obvious at a glance.

Goals tab

The Goals tab lists the repโ€™s active development goals for the quarter, each tied to the diagnosed layer and focus metric and reviewed weekly. Each goal card shows its target metric, a progress bar, and a status of Achieved, On track, Progressing, or Behind based on how far the current value has moved toward target. When no goals are set, the tab reads โ€œNo development goals set for this quarter.โ€

Meetings tab

When the rep has meetings with conversation analytics, this tab summarises them. Conversation metrics averages across recent meetings: average talk ratio (rep), questions / min, interactivity / min, average longest monologue, average interruptions, filler words / min, and a flagged-meetings count. A Trend chart plots one metric over time โ€” switch between Talk ratio %, Questions / min, Interactivity / min, and Monologue (s). A Meetings needing review table lists flagged meetings with their coaching signals, and a Recent meetings table lists the rest; clicking either opens the meeting in Meeting Capture. With no analysed meetings the tab prompts you to record one via Meeting Capture.
