Data Quality Monitor: CRM Health for Forecasts & ML

By Summit53 Team

Overview

The Data Quality Monitor gives real-time visibility into the quality of your CRM data โ€” which is what accurate forecasts and ML predictions depend on. It scores your data, lists the specific issues dragging it down, flags early warnings, and breaks completeness down by rep and by field.

Getting there

Select the Data Quality Score panel or the Data Quality Monitorcard on the Settings hub, or go to /revenue-intelligence/settings/data-quality.

Overall Data Quality Score

At the top, an overall score (for example 89%) is rated on a scale from Excellent through Good, Fair, and Poor to Critical, and is based on your active opportunities (for example โ€œBased on 125 active opportunitiesโ€). Use it as the headline health number for your pipeline data.

The tabs

  • Overview โ€” field completeness and quality trends at a glance.
  • Issues โ€” the specific problems found, with a count in the tab label.
  • Early Warnings โ€” opportunities that are starting to slip before they become problems.
  • By Sales Rep โ€” data quality broken down per rep, so coaching can be targeted.

Field Completeness

The Overview shows completeness for the fields that matter most to forecasting: Close Date, Amount, Stage, Probability, Account, and Forecast Category. Each shows the percentage of opportunities with that field filled in.

A monthly trend shows whether your data quality is Improving, Declining, or Stable, with the score for recent months so you can see the direction of travel.

Issues and recommendations

Each issue is presented with the problem, a recommendation, and the impact โ€” for example, unowned opportunities need owners for accountability and tracking. Work the Issues tab to lift the overall score and protect forecast confidence.

Improving your score

  1. Open the Issues tab and start with the highest-impact items.
  2. Use By Sales Rep to see who needs to clean up which records.
  3. Fix the underlying CRM records (owners, amounts, close dates, stages).
  4. Select Refresh and watch the score and field completeness improve.

Troubleshooting

  • Score is Declining: check recent months in Quality Trends and clear the newest issues first.
  • A field shows below 100%: open the affected opportunities and fill the missing field โ€” incomplete Close Date or Amount hurts forecasts most.
  • Numbers havenโ€™t updated: select Refresh to recalculate after editing records.
