Settings: Revenue Intelligence Configuration Hub

By Summit53 Team

Overview

The Settings page is the hub for configuring Revenue Intelligence to match your go-to-market motion. From here you set your fiscal calendar, run guided setup, monitor data quality, and open each configuration area โ€” quotas, forecasts, territories, teams, roles, custom metrics, and machine learning. What you configure here flows through to dashboards, analytics, forecasts, exports, and playbooks across the product.

Getting there

Open /revenue-intelligence/settings (Settings in the Revenue Intelligence nav). Some areas, such as ML/AI Configuration, are intended for Admin or RevOps users.

Configuration Status

The card at the top of the page shows where your organisation stands. It reports a Configuration Level โ€” Zero Config (the product runs on sensible defaults with no setup), Basic Config, or a fuller configured state โ€” and gives you a single primary action. If you have not set anything up yet, that action is Start Quick Setup; once configured, it takes you straight to the most useful area to continue.

Fiscal Calendar

The Fiscal Calendar card controls how analytics, quotas, and exports align to your financial year. Set the fiscal year start month and start day, choose a quarter cadence (Standard / calendar-aligned today; 4-4-5 and 4-5-4 are coming soon), and set a fiscal timezone using any IANA name in Area/City form (for example America/Chicago). Use Save fiscal settings to apply, or Reset to revert. Every period label, rollup, and export timestamp inherits these settings. For the deeper walkthrough of fiscal periods and the period selector, see the Sales Periods guide.

Quick Actions

Below the fiscal card, context-aware Quick Actions surface the next best step for your setup state โ€” for example Run Quick Setup when setup is incomplete, or Enable Quotas when quotas are not yet switched on. Actions disappear once they no longer apply.

Data Quality Score

The Data Quality Score panel gives an at-a-glance health percentage with the top issues to address (such as missing quotas or unassigned territories). Select it to open the full Data Quality Monitor, where you can drill into issues, early warnings, and per-rep completeness.

Configuration Areas

The grid lists each configuration area with a status chip (Configured, Monitoring, New, or Not Set). Select a card to open that area:

  • Quotas โ€” set and manage sales quotas by rep, team, and period.
  • Forecasts โ€” submit and track revenue forecasts and categories.
  • Territories โ€” define territories and assign accounts and reps.
  • Teams โ€” organise the team hierarchy and reporting structure.
  • Roles โ€” assign functional roles that drive each userโ€™s home page and digests.
  • Data Quality Monitor โ€” track CRM data health that underpins forecasts and ML.
  • ML/AI Configuration โ€” train and manage prediction models.
  • Advanced โ€” Import/Export, API access, and ML settings. This area is marked coming soon.

Custom KPIs are configured on a separate Custom Metrics page; it is enabled through Quick Setupโ€™s Custom KPIs feature. Each area has its own dedicated guide.

  1. Confirm the Fiscal Calendar so every period aligns to your financial year.
  2. Run Quick Setup to choose a configuration mode and enable features.
  3. Configure Quotas and Territories, then Teams and Roles.
  4. Review the Data Quality Monitor and resolve flagged issues.
  5. Train models in ML/AI Configuration once you have enough historical data.

Troubleshooting

  • A page shows โ€œValidating your subscriptionโ€ฆโ€: configuration pages load asynchronously โ€” allow a moment for data to appear.
  • Saved fiscal settings look wrong: the start day is automatically constrained to valid days for the chosen month; re-check the month and day, then save again.
  • An area shows โ€œNot Setโ€: open the card and complete its configuration, or run Quick Setup to enable the underlying feature first.
