Quick Setup: Configure Revenue Intelligence in 3 Steps

Use the Quick Setup wizard to choose auto, manual or zero-config setup, enable features and set starting defaults.

Overview

Quick Setup is a short wizard for choosing how much of Revenue Intelligence you want to configure, turning on the features you need, and applying starting values — without visiting every settings page individually.

Getting there

On the Settings hub, select Start Quick Setup in the Configuration Status card, or Run Quick Setup under Quick Actions. The wizard lives at /revenue-intelligence/settings/quick-setup.

Step 1 — Welcome to Revenue Intelligence

Choose how you want to set up:

  • Auto-detect and configure (Recommended) — “We’ll analyze your data and automatically configure the best settings for your team.”
  • Manual configuration — “Choose exactly which features to enable and configure them yourself.”
  • Skip setup (keep zero-config) — “Start using Revenue Intelligence immediately with basic features.”

If you choose Skip setup, the wizard collapses to a single step: select Complete Setup and you return to the Settings hub in zero-configuration mode. Otherwise select Next.

Step 2 — Enable Features

Tick the features you want:

  • Quotas — track performance against sales targets.
  • Territories — manage geographic or account-based territories.
  • ML Forecasting — AI-powered revenue predictions. Ticked by default.
  • Custom KPIs — define your own performance metrics.

Step 3 — Set Defaults

“Configure default values for your organization.”

  • If you ticked Quotas: Default Quota Amount and Period Type (Monthly, Quarterly or Yearly).
  • Enable team structure — set up manager relationships and team hierarchies.
  • Next moves forward; Back returns to the previous step.
  • Cancel on the first step leaves without applying anything.

Known issue: step 3 of Auto and Manual setup doesn’t currently show a Complete Setup button, so those choices can’t be applied from the wizard. Until this is fixed, configure each area directly from the Settings hub — Quotas, Territories and Teams each work on their own.

Troubleshooting

  • Not sure what to pick? Choose Skip setup (keep zero-config) and configure areas one at a time from the Settings hub.
  • No Complete Setup button on step 3: see the known issue above.
  • Start Quick Setup isn’t on the hub: it only shows before setup has been started or skipped. Use Run Quick Setup under Quick Actions instead.
