Overview

Connect Slack to create notes and opportunities directly from channels, receive notifications, and (optionally) track activity. Simple OAuth connection with configurable features.

Tabs

  • Connection: OAuth install/status
  • Settings: Notifications, commands, auto‑linking, activity tracking
  • Activity: Monitoring (coming soon)

Connection

  • Click Connect to Slack and authorize the S53 app
  • Add the bot to channels where you plan to use commands

Settings

  • Notifications: New Opportunities, Opportunity Updates, New Contacts
  • Default Notification Channel: e.g., #sales
  • Slash Commands: Enable/disable; e.g., /s53-health @opportunity, /s53-pipeline
  • Auto‑link Entities: Link @mentions to CRM contacts
  • Activity Tracking: Log Slack interactions when creating notes/opps

Quick Start

  1. Connect your Slack workspace
  2. Invite the S53 app to target channels
  3. Try /s53-health or /s53-pipeline in a channel

Troubleshooting

  • If commands fail, ensure the bot is in the channel and commands are enabled
  • Configure a default channel for notifications if messages aren’t delivered
