Overview
Import opportunities from CSV or Excel with a visual mapping editor, optional transformations, stage mapping, and data quality helpers. Preview before importing and track progress in history.
Supported Formats
- .csv, .tsv, .xls, .xlsx
- First row should contain column headers
- Max file size 10MB
Workflow
- Upload a file and click Generate Preview
- Review suggested column mappings; adjust as needed
- Optionally configure Stage Mapping (external → internal + probability)
- Choose Import Options (duplicate handling; amount/close date overrides)
- Click Import Data to queue processing
Column Mapping
- Auto‑suggests based on header names (e.g., Opportunity Title → name)
- Common fields: external_id, name, account_name, stage, amount, owner_email, primary_contact_email, close_date
- Transformations: e.g., currency_to_float for amount
Stage Mapping
- Map external stages to internal stages and provide default probability
- Used when source stages differ from Summit53 pipeline
Import Options
- Duplicate Handling: Skip or Update existing
- Amount Override: Keep, Average of non‑zero, or Fixed default
- Close Date Override: Keep or Fixed default
Preview Helpers
- Warnings for zero amounts or missing close dates
- Auto‑populate suggestions to speed mapping
Troubleshooting
- Required: Opportunity Name and Account/Company mapping
- Fix extra header rows before upload
- Use Import History to monitor queued job status
