Opportunity Playbook: Deal-Level Guidance

By Summit53 Team

Overview

The Opportunity Playbook provides deal-specific guidance to accelerate execution, reduce risk, and improve win probability. It opens as a slide‑out panel on the opportunity page and adapts to the deal’s stage and health.

Access

  • Open from an opportunity: look for “Playbook” or guidance action on the Opportunity page
  • Appears as a right-side slide‑out; click outside or “Close Playbook” to dismiss
  • Shows Deal Name, Stage, and Amount
  • Urgent banner appears when critical patterns are detected (e.g., high waste, low probability, slow velocity, low MEDDPIC)

Tabs

  • 🎯 Priorities Now: ActionPrioritizer surfaces the most impactful next steps; includes AI‑suggested actions where available
  • 📋 Daily Check: DealExecutionGuide lists routine checks for momentum (next steps, stakeholder engagement, activity)
  • 🔮 Scenarios: DealScenarios highlights risks/opportunities by severity; expand for detail and recommended responses
  • 🛡️ Risk Mitigation: RiskMitigation outlines targeted steps (e.g., framework completion, contact re‑engagement, close plan)

Context-Aware Behavior

  • Highlights modules based on metrics: waste score, win probability, velocity, MEDDPIC/BANT/SPICED, contact freshness
  • Detection examples: stale contacts → “contact strategy”; late-stage deals → “closing acceleration”

Persistence

  • Remembers last tab per user using local storage (opportunity_playbook_last_tab)

Who Uses This

  • Account Executives: daily execution on active deals
  • Sales Managers: prep for 1:1s by scanning “Priorities Now” and “Scenarios”

Tips

  • Address red (critical) scenarios first; verify updated next steps on the record
  • Pair with Contact Freshness and Framework health to lift win probability
